Bio:
I attended the University of Dallas, then Stephen F Austin State University graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2020 with a double major in Philosophy and History. I then attended Notre Dame Seminary to further study Philosophy and Theology at the graduate level, in formation for the Diocese of Tyler, TX before discerning out of priestly formation. I am scheduled to graduate from Notre Dame Seminary with an MA in Pastoral Leadership in May 2025. Following discerning out of seminary, I began my formal career as an educator at E.D. White Catholic High School in Thibodaux, LA, teaching Theology and tutoring students with learning differences in Theology and History. I have a deep passion for educating in the Catholic tradition and assisting in the formation of young people.
Philosophy of Education:
My philosophy of education follows that of those who have gone before me, both in the Catholic faith and those of high western society. Following the teachings of Pope Pius XI in his foundational document for Catholic pedagogy, Divini Illius Magistri, as an educator I strive to form not only the intellects of my students, but also form their other faculties in order that they may be authentic Christians in every aspect of their lives. In other words, I strive to form the whole person. Modern education has largely been reduced to siloing content and encouraging mere rote memorization at the expense of critical thinking, reading, and writing. I firmly believe that the antidote to this problem is through the classical education model. This begins by recognizing language as a medium of thought, and grammar forming the roots which structure thought and form the basis for critical thinkings. Logic, which is the art of thinking, follows from this to determine the validity and cogency of a given thought. Finally, rhetoric, which forms the branches, is the art of communicating, and it is through rhetoric that these valid or cogent arguments can best be conveyed. A key component to this type of education in a Catholic setting is the integration of the faith in every field of study. Rather than siloing subjects and relegating any mention of God to a theology class, an integrated pedagogy seeks to weave God into all areas of study since He is the designer, creator, and king of all things. Recognizing that the domestic church is the foundation of formation for the youth, as a Classical Catholic educator I strive to support and supplement the formation students receive at home. Rather than standing opposed to that integral formation which parents provide at home, I wish to build on this formation and further encourage students to imbibe the whole of the Catholic ethos through all of the subjects, especially those of the Trivium and Quadrivium.

Christian Martin
My name is Christian Martin and I grew up near Sacramento, California, where I began to develop a love of learning at John Adams Academy, a classical charter school. I continued my pursuit of the true, the good, and the beautiful at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, where I graduated with a double major in Philosophy and Theology in May of 2024. I have a great desire to share the beauty of creation and the joy of education with the next generation of students for the glory of God and the salvation of souls, and look forward to being involved in such an amazing community.

Gabrielle Littlefield
Gabrielle graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art in 2016. Her senior capstone show exhibited her love of the Catholic liturgical calendar and its colors, celebrating the life of Christ each day. While in undergrad, Gabrielle attended and led Bible studies through FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students). She greatly enjoys learning and sharing her faith with others. Deeply moved by her encounters with Jesus in the Eucharist, reading Sacred Scripture, and enjoying fellowship with other Catholics, Gabrielle became a FOCUS missionary for two years. She served at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and helped start FOCUS at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. After her time as a missionary, Gabrielle then studied at the Augustine Institute, from which she received her Master’s Degree in Theology in 2024. While studying for her Master’s Degree, Gabrielle worked at Dominican Home Health Agency–now Emmaus Catholic Hospice–helping lower-income elderly adults receive medical equipment and in-home care. Gabrielle met her husband through FOCUS and the two married on the feast of Our Lady’s Nativity in 2022. They have a daughter and are expecting a second beautiful girl this November
